About Didi

I have been a clinical social worker in Austin for 30 years.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work at UT Austin in 1984.  I have provided therapy for children, adolescents and adults in residential treatment and outpatient at Austin Child Guidance Center and Child and Family Services. I served as a counselor in grades KG through 12th grade in the Eanes School District for ten years. I provided play therapy for students at the Capitol School of Austin and counseling and supervision at the Griffin School in Austin.  I have been a licensed private practitioner since 1990. I utilize a strength-based, solution focused approach.

Personal: I am married to a social worker and we have a 27 year old daughter and an 18 year old son. I was born in the Netherlands and I am a US citizen.
